In the span of this week, specifically from December 11th to 13th, enthusiasts of Call of Duty: Warzone were treated to the debut of an innovative game mode that quickly won over the community.

In a standard Warzone competition, participants earn points for each enemy they eliminate, and these points are boosted by a multiplier tied to their final position in the game. However, the innovative Match Point system unveiled this week streamlines this approach by assigning points for each opponent defeated, with bonus points added based on the players' final ranking when the game ends.

This change has made it more straightforward for fans to track the progress of their preferred squads, creating a more suspenseful and climactic finale. Achieving 100 points is no longer enough; to claim the ultimate victory, a team must also emerge triumphant in one last match. This requirement injects a rush of excitement and competition, aligning well with the fast-paced, survival-focused ethos of the battle royale genre.
