Instagram has introduced a new feature aimed at giving creators more creative control over how they share their profiles. This update lets users create a customizable two-sided digital card that reflects their personal style, with various design options. It comes on the heels of Meta's recent addition of a music feature, allowing users to add a song to their profile that matches their mood or personality.

The new Profile Card enables users to design a more engaging and personalized way to share their profile. In addition to a QR code linking directly to the profile, the card includes sections for bio information, links, music that represents them, and other creative elements. Users can personalize the card by adjusting the background color, adding a personal photo, or featuring an emoji of their choice.

One side of the card acts as a shareable display, while the other features a scannable QR code for easy profile access. This feature is designed to help creators connect with brands and potential collaborators. While Instagram has previously offered profile cards, they were limited to QR codes. Now, users can express their interests and showcase their favorite music through these digital cards.

To create a Profile Card, users simply navigate to their Instagram profile, select the "Share Profile" option, and customize the card by clicking the edit icon to add the desired details. Users can share these cards in stories or distribute them across other platforms to boost visibility and engagement.
