WayForward has a full slate of upcoming launches, including Clock Tower: Rewind, Yars Rising, and Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution. An additional release to anticipate is Sigma Star Saga, set to launch in 2025 and compatible with contemporary consoles and PCs.

During the Anime Expo 2024 panel, WayForward announced its development of the contemporary version of Sigma Star Saga powered by Limited Run Games’ Carbon Engine. While clarifying that this isn't a sequel, the developers hinted at a potential sequel in the future. Similar to Risky Revolution, Sigma Star Saga will be accessible via a Game Boy Advance cartridge.

Originally released in August 2005 for the Game Boy Advance, Sigma Star Saga uniquely blends side-scrolling shooter mechanics with top-down RPG gameplay. The gameplay revolves around players personifying an Allied Earth Federation pilot named Ian Recker, acting undercover within the Krill Empire.
