In the story, Chalamet portrays Joe, a reserved rocket mechanic who prefers a life of solitude. Selena Gomez plays Fran, a dedicated scientist working on an innovative rocket powered by plant energy. Their paths converge as the project attracts the attention of three mischievous aliens who, seeking shelter, disrupt the calm of Joe’s world. Meanwhile, a clumsy law enforcer named Zandro is on their trail, determined to bring them under custody.
The narrative unfolds as follows:
- Joe and Fran come together to support the maiden launch of a groundbreaking rocket, sparking an unexpected connection between them despite their inexperience with romance.
