The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020 Will Seemingly be Revealed at Gamescom

Supermassive Games is busy preparing for the launch of two highly anticipated titles, The Casting of Frank Stone and Little Nightmares 3. However, these aren’t their only projects. Following the conclusion of the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology, which ended with The Devil in Me, the studio has teased a new installment in the series, Directive 8020, which is nearing its public unveiling.

Recently, the studio shared a captivating image of a planet on Twitter, coupled with an intriguing message that suggested an extraordinary showcase at Gamescom. While the name of the upcoming game wasn’t directly mentioned, it has been established that Directive 8020 will delve into a science fiction narrative. Players will find themselves aboard the Cassiopeia, facing perplexing challenges during its journey to the planet Tau Ceti f. 

With Gamescom set to occur in Cologne, Germany, from August 21 to August 25, fans can look forward to discovering more about this engaging sci-fi horror adventure soon.
